Welcome To Crane's Safety Institute

Crane’s Safety Institute, incorporated in 2001, is a division of the Sturm Corporation. The training institute has fast become a well-known and respected learning center for safety.

Classes have been held for industry personnel as well as Government. We have been responsible for training staff at USDOL MSHA, USDOL OSHA, Hanscom Air Force Base, Babson College, Shaughnessy/Amquip and others in the industry.

One major attribute that makes Crane’s Safety Institute a unique learning experience is the operational knowledge that each instructor has on the equipment and material that he presents. This knowledge has come from years of operating, repairing and working hand in hand with the American Standards of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). This ‘hands on’ has provided our training staff with the well-rounded mechanical background needed and the ability to pass this knowledge on in a class environment.

Crane’s Safety Institute provides training at our location plus the added benefit of training at your location. When at your location, we are able to combine classroom instruction with actual work environment. Our customers have found this to be a great learning experience.
